Before you begin, remember
- Look only at the digit immediately to the right of the place you are rounding to. Digits further along do not get a vote.
- 5 or more rounds up, 4 or less rounds down. Watch for 9s: rounding 3,297 to the nearest ten gives 3,300, not 3,290.
