Before you begin, remember
- Find factors in pairs and work upwards - 1 and 24, 2 and 12, 3 and 8, 4 and 6 - and you will not miss any.
- A number is divisible by 3 if its digits add to a multiple of 3, and by 9 if they add to a multiple of 9. This turns a long division into a two-second check.
